Went to Camden Town/Camden Lock Market today. It reminded me of Bugis Street - those cheap T-shirts and the ang moh "ah-lian" equivalent clothes. It fact there was quite a huge Asian population there, Cantonese was overheard, rows and rows of Asian food stalls tended by Asian people, from Thai to Chinese to Indian. There were a number of Buddhist-like stalls selling Buddhist stuff and the lavender/moke incense was nice from afar but overpowering as I got closer to the source.
Thereafter, I got caught in the first heavy downpour since I got to London :( Wanted to walk back to Dover but the rain thwarted my plans and I had to get onto the tube instead. Worst of all, it was peak hour so I don't get the 1/3 discount :(
Oh yes, I bought cheap cod fillets (frozen) at Lidl's!
