Felix Fletus
Latin for Laughtears, this means uncontrollable simultaneous laughing and crying. But beyond its literal meaning, this is my aphorism for living - to embrace the experiences of life and to allow yourself to fully immerse in the gamut of emotions they carry.
It will become evident through my posts that I am an avid cook. Completely self-taught from books and blogs, my secret dream is to open an artisan store. My food philosophy? Healthy, fresh, natural, unprocessed, whole, balanced, sustainable and minimal wastage. I've gone through numerous fads before like turning vegan, but I realized such a lifestyle does not suit me. Nevertheless I make conscious effort to know the origins of food.
I also devour books (fiction, non-fiction, you name it), and dabble in a bit of craftsy work when I have the time.
This blog is a synthesis of personal memories, adventures and growth. It also represents a means of reaching out to other like-minded people, the blogging community.
