Currently I'm being a nerd and studying the genetics of Drosophila. I was totally lost in the sea of developmental pathways barely 10 minutes into the lecture yesterday. Well, if I learnt anything, it is that the gene names of Drosophila are really funny, like hedgehog, wingless, hunchback etc. Unlike boring yeast genetics.
