2 Cream of peanut butter
I wonder what kind of power blades they have in their factory that can whip the oil out of those peanuts. My processor shall never achieve such creamy consistency :(
So, as much as I like making my own nut butters, I concede that store-bought is always superior. Yum!
Baked amaranth muesli with raspberries & topped with oozy, creamy Maranatha PB! (and an additional raspberry for aesthetics)
Meanwhile....
At sunrise at Punggol, the north-eastern tip of Singapore last Saturday.
You wouldn't believe that such places exist in Singapore right? But they do!

apparently, punggol is the next up & coming area in sg. but i'd never want to buy property there tho. think i'm still having the impression that it used to be a mangrove swamp and it is out of the way ! did it take long for you to reach there?
ReplyDeleteNut butters here in AU can never be as great as the ones in US. I miss BRP's nut butters so much. Here it tastes kinda awful actually. and i've been scouring for coconut oil/avocado oil. can't seem to find it at regular supermarkets.
got back a few of my marks. 14/20 for my systems theory essay, grade of 6- (low distinction) for a group report and 13/20 for my presentation. very, very mediocre results. except for the 6. thats pretty good !
hope all's well for you (: TGIF.
Yup. Punggol is going to be the "Watertown of the 21st century." I went there for my project. With the NEL, it's quite easy to get there. Go Bishan>Serangoon>Punggol. About 1/2 h train ride. But then need to take LRT from Punggol to reach the park. After living in Novena area for my entire life, it's really a different feel when you enter these sorts of New Towns. Seeing the vast areas of cleared construction land, towers and towers of high-rise HDB (the LRT ride provided a paranomic view), it's quite scary actually, or more like a "factory" town. The HDB is making lots of efforts to integrate new designs into the buildings though.
ReplyDeleteI can send u some nutters butters if u want :) Exams next week and then it's finally the END OF YEAR 3 for me!! Woots! Can't be more excited. I'll most likely be gg down to BRP next week so tell me if u want nutters butters! Marks&Spencer has finally opened at the old Borders. I passed the store a few days ago but did not enter. Shall explore and see if they've got new offerings after my exams.
Dun worry about ur marks, I mean there's nothing u can do now. Continue to maintain a positive outlook!
I case u don't know yet, the MRT system is Singapore is totally breaking down. Over the last few days, it has had major disruptions over the EW and Circle line. It's almost a daily affair now, worse than London! U should read the news man. Even universities have implemented a plan in case of major disruptions during the exam week. Sg losing its image of efficiency!
